The closing date for entries for the current CHIPSI monthly competition is the 23rd of each month. Images submitted later will be considered in the following month.
The jury will select 3 images from the entries. From these three images, the one with the most “likes” from our Facebook fans at the end of the month will be chosen as the winning image. It will be displayed on the homepage and the winner will receive the prize.
All persons of legal age and with unrestricted legal capacity who are at least 18 years old are eligible to participate. Only participants with Facebook accounts that represent a person with their real name are permitted. Participation with fake identities or with the identities of third parties is not permitted. Participation and the chances of winning are in no way dependent on information requests, the purchase of goods or the use of paid services.
Participants who violate the terms and conditions of participation or manipulate the competition may be excluded from participation with immediate effect. If the conditions for exclusion are met, prizes can be subsequently revoked or already paid out or delivered prizes can be reclaimed, or corresponding corrections can be made to the ranking.
The organizer or the agencies commissioned with the implementation of the competition are entitled to discontinue, cancel or suspend the competition if
- promotional guidelines of Facebook were to be changed during the implementation, so that implementation would not be possible according to the valid provisions of Facebook or the competition would be stopped by Facebook for any reason.
- an attempted abuse through manipulation is detected.
- orderly execution is no longer guaranteed, especially in the event of hardware or software failure, programming errors, computer viruses or unauthorized intervention by third parties, as well as mechanical, technical or legal problems.
A prerequisite for participation is a “Like” on the CHIPSI Facebook page
Each participant may only enter the competition once per month. In the case of non-cash prizes, there is no entitlement to a cash payment of the prizes.
The decision of the judges is final.
By participating in the offered competitions, the participant declares his/her agreement with the rules of the competition and the terms of use. The participants/winners will be notified in writing or by email. If notification is not possible due to incorrect email or address information, another winner will be determined. The winners agree to the publication of their name and image on the website. The personal data entered by the interested party will be stored and deleted again upon request (note according to §28 Para. 1 BDSG). JRS assures that the data will not be passed on to third parties and may only be used by JRS itself for advertising purposes with express consent.
Employees and family members of JRS are excluded from participation.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The image can only participate in the competition if it is named correctly and the data volume does not exceed 3 MB. The minimum width should not be less than 300 pixels.
